It was shortly after the brawl between the Dissimulative that Ahlix reached the rendezvous he had given the Sprite from the previous day. As soon as the man had come to Puck's eyesight, the cutting of air from the eager hops of the man sprang into the Prophet's senses, his crooked grin nothing more but the same.
There was a hesitation before the two journey forth, a mouthful from the bubbly Sprite as he expressed his excitement of a partner in venture. Being a man of few words from the start, Ahlix simply stood, shaking his head as he took in every stretched syllable of glee. And then they were off, now almost half a meter from the gates, the golden fields of grass and flowers creating waves like that of the Noyoko Ocean.
"You find a lot of strange things in those feathers of yours..." the lanky man commented out of casual meaning, the filling thought of how things just ended up in the Sprite's possession, arguable.

Puck nodded excitedly.
"I know right? all these things just appear! its great i tell ya! Like onetime i found this woman's entire jewelry box in it! The whole thing! Of course the guard had a word with me, but they wouldn't believe that the bag had done it! Can you believe they also had the gal to call me a liar! Me! speaker of oh so a great a tale!"
He had a smile the entire time, even as he recounted his tale. He was also still pulling odds and ends from his pack as he walked, some silver string a stick that shot fire, for some reason unknown to Puck, and of course, his most prized possession, a crystal ball that showed him a living picture of a sky full of squid! It was cool.
"Want some cinnamon candy?" he asked suddenly holding out a hand full of small rd candies.

Continuing a paced stroll next to the Sprite, Ahlix folded his arms neatly across his chest as the tattered makeshift of a cloak held up much like that of a monk, his sleeves covering that of his bare arms and hands that rested on the opposing lengths. He thought he told a story, this man had a bag and a half of unique items, that all held at least two or three folklore apiece!
Staring at the open hand of goodies, the Elf happily retrieved that of a stick-like editable, taking it into his mouth as it grounded between his teeth, much like a straw or even as inconvenient as a cig. "Gratitude is toward your kindness, parakeet," Ahlix thanked, his dialect unusual to that of someone who was...normal. However, the shorter man had yet even questioned his ethnic, and only once had he rejected the nickname. This was something Ahlix was very unfamiliar with, the lack of moving questions towards his existence. But at the same time, it was a nice change. To relax, and not have to play with that of a puzzled mind.
"We've yet to be appropriately acquainted. What is the parakeets' birth, shall I ask?"

He grinned at the odd compliment, and popped some candy into his own mouth.
"I'm Puck!" he said with glee as the man asked him his name. Puck hadn't even thought to ask the man his own name until then, only been happy to come along with him.
"Whats your name mister?" he asked looking up at the man and smiling.

"Puck? The name suits you," Ahlix grinned through his teeth, still lightly gnawing away at the cinnamon enclosure.
It was a rare day when Ahlix actually displayed his name to anyone who didn't know already, and even that was a shot in the dark. And that day would not come across to easily, just meeting the strange fellow to his side. He would start with a fair exchange, none the less.
"I am known to be that of the Blind Prophet," the Elf nodded to himself, baring his hands back into the cloak, returning his posture to that of the gleeful monk. "As you can notice, physical colors are not something I am familiar with, nor is the suns' rays."

Puck squinted at the my.
"Oh my, i never noticed your blind!" he cried almost theater like in his voice.
"what a shame really, i bet a man such as yourself would probably appreciate seeing...things?" he said scratching his head whilst thinking.
"But i bet you can smell real good right? I hear that people who are blind can smell good. Like this one time i went into a cave and there was a giant bat, no foolin', and it couldn't see, but it could hear REALLY REALLY good, so as soon as i set a foot on the ground..." he then rambled for several minutes before finally ending with.
"And then i flung the trout at the ceiling, and the spider died!" he laughed as if the whole ordeal was a great joke.
"What about you, Prophet, what have you se- erm...heard?"

Well, that was certainly a different reaction from the rest. Did the Sprite think he had worn the blind fold just for fun? None the less, this man was full of changes for Ahlix's average atmosphere, and he was loving it.
"It is true when a birds' feathers are clipped, or that its' beak is bashed, that the other senses become much more fluent," the crimson headed man lectured, raising one finger as he tapped his hood, motioning to his ear, "Especially this, and the vibrations beneath our claws. This is what allows such a raven to maneuver as if can see perfectly. Crows that fiddle too much with what they see in perspective, are not able to observe as closely as one who is enhanced."
He would admit, never had he had to lecture anyone before on his stasis. A bit of him regretted it, not wanting to bore the man, considering he was speaking in dialect of fun, exciting, tales. And here the Prophet was, giving him a psychology lesson. "However, my lack of the false world does not harm my instincts to tell a story," Ahlix chanted, flipping the atmosphere back into the hands of the Sprite.

Puck's grin stood firm as the man talked.
"Prophet I love how you speak! Feels ancient and wise, perfect for the telling of tails!" he called, jumping up onto a nearby low stone wall and walking as if he was an acrobat.
But this did not stave his flood of words.
"Tells me another story please! I love your story from yesterday! Maybe one with a dragon as the hero? Or maybe one with a treasure?" he asked as he jumped down to walk alongside the Man.
Puck had never really felt so happy in his life, surprising. he had enjoyed his life before but now her had some one to share his joy with! No more passer by conversations for this sprite!...well...maybe if they ask....

"My, my! No one has ever taken the chance to compliment my dialect... you may be more than a parakeet, just yet... But what are you, I wonder? A humming bird, with that tongue of yours? Or perhaps that of a Starling?" the strange Elf began to ramble, considering over what turned out to be a list of bird nicknames to address Puck. After a handful more, Ahlix nodded, the second name definitely that of character for the eager man.
"Yes, you are no longer a caged parakeet, but much of a Starling Bard. Do you mind?" he requested, asking permission of the man for the promotion of name.

Puck's eyes burned with such a fire at the man's new name for him.
"Its wonderful a title!" Puck cried in delight, flinging his arms wide.
"For to be a bard is my true quest now! I will travel far and wide, finding and learning all the greatest tales, and adding my own as well!" he said this all while dancing about with a fit of joy.
it meant a surprisingly large amount to Puck to have this man call him a bard. He stopped suddenly and looked at the Prophet with a large grin.
"But of course, not with out my good friend The Prophet! Showing me all of the greatest lands and places of old!" he cried rushing back to the man's side.
"Uh, but you wiill not distract me so easily! I think i remember you telling me you had a story for this trip eh?" he said wagging his finger at the man as if he was being tricked.

The sleek grin tightened at the mans' jaw line from the Sprite's joy, feeling rather accomplished. "You have the memory of a lamb, Starling. But yes, a story I shall tell. You mentioned that of a Dragon savior, or that of riches? I shall first share that of a hidden treasure in land far, far away..." the Prophet began, this time in more elegance as they were continuing on foot, rather than standing in one place.
The sun had reached over at its' high point, symbolizing that of midday. Upon nightfall at the Namos border, perhaps then they could charge in a rest. Until then, a story of riches it was.
"Have you ever heard the story of the Dragon's Spine, dear Starling? The Ridge that settles not too far from the City of Gold?"

"City of gold? This must truly be a fable indeed!" he said with his eyes widening, almost pushing from his skull. Amazed by the thought of an entire city of gold! What a site!
"I bet the sunlight hitting it was marvelous e!" he said dreamily thinking of it.

"Ah, you are familiar with the City of Gold - Kabal, you call it. The Dragon's Spine lines East, bordering that of the Eupeereeth's grave. Rumor fuels, that in the structure, lies buckets, no -- carts! Of treasures and beauties. However, only the brave or the ignorant of the wings go up there to observe, as the Dragons are holders of these treasures.
People believe that is the sought of Greed that these mighty folklore peck anyone who dares enter their cavern. However, did you know that the Dragon actually eats the treasures?" the Elf wove, despite their movement, twisting his now unfolded hands in gestures. "While we look it upon such mountains of mineral as a product, they are actually the very scales in which the reptile forms along its' crust."

"Eating jewels and treasure? Wonderful!" he said, spell bound staring at the man as he gestured. Puck loved the tale already. Finding himself picturing the dragons greedily scarfing beautiful golds and silvers.
"Does that hurt digestive wise?" he asked suddenly thinking that would be a little painful...
