Personality
Harris is pretty much, in personality, everyone’s automatic thought of “redneck.” He’s rude, sexist, racist, homophobic, and does what he wants, when he pleases. He has a violently angry side that is very easily roused, and both women and men tend to pull the worst out of him. However, Harris won’t hit a woman. He’s not like his father in that aspect.
A part of Harris hates women, and he uses them. He’s broken many a heart this way, because he figures the only things women are good for are sex and kids. He thinks that otherwise, they will simply get in the way. Due to this and the various drug markets he’s dabbled in, he’s garnered a bad reputation, and most sane people will deal with the hunter as little as possible. Harris has no trouble starting and finishing fights, either. He’ll more than likely try and start one at the slightest smart comment or funny look, and he’s more confrontational than his brother, Indiana.
Although he doesn’t like to flaunt it too much, Harris is a bit of a genius. He can’t do much more than read and write and count, but there’s a lot of potential there. Of course, not many people know it due to the fact that it’s hidden behind a wall of anger. After all, he thinks that useful knowledge includes things like how to hunt or navigate just by the position of the stars and moon. Harris is an excellent conman and can sweet talk his way into hearts and homes.
Harris is physically and emotionally abusive towards his younger brother, and has drilled his beliefs into the kid ever since he felt he had to as a child. It isn’t out of malice, though. Far from it. The way Harris sees it, is if you’re not tough, the world will chew you up and spit you out. It’s his way of looking out for Indy, and although he’s taught the kid to fight his own fights, may the gods help you if he finds out that you’ve messed with his brother. Harris won’t do anything in front of his brother, but it’s pretty hard to get away from one of the best trackers and hunters around.
In that same vein, Harris practically raised Indiana, from when the kid was really little. Their father would be drunk to hell most of the time, and children need food and half clean clothes. Oftentimes their mother would be so depressed and drunk most of the time, she would lie in bed while Harris tended to Indiana. It’s probably part of why he hates women and is definitely why he is so unhealthily attached to Indy. But the hunter genuinely views this as a normal relationship between brothers.
His relationship with Indy is, from his side, almost dependent to the point where Harris can’t function without his younger brother. He’d never admit it, but even when he’s seemingly gone, he always makes sure that Indy is taken care of. He’s fiercely loyal and protective of him, and Indy’s the only person Harris has ever truly cared for. Harris believes he'll be the only one, in fact.
His anger gets him in many a tough and unnecessary situation, but Harris doesn’t want to, nor thinks he needs to change. He knows he’s not normal, that he and Indy were raised like soldiers. Harris often says “shoot first, ask questions later” which he got from his father, and it’s pretty much his life philosophy. However, if you’re respectful to him, he’ll probably be mostly respectful back. He can be pretty laidback.

Harris is of relatively average height at 6’1. His antlers do make him look taller, though. His frame is rather stocky, and the hunter has pretty bad bowlegs. He isn’t self conscious about them at all. If they can get him around just fine, why care too much?
His hair is a sandy blond, and is almost hanging to his shoulders. He doesn’t do much other than brush it, and Harris often complains that he needs to get a haircut. Even though he’s worn his hair long for years, and he really has no intentions of changing it. His eyes are bright green and piercing, with all sorts of colors swimming in there. However, his eyes are usually hard to read, since he’s had loads of practice of hiding emotions over his lifetime.
The first thing one probably notices, however, are the antlers and rabbit ears that he boasts. Being a Magundi with jackalope features, those things are obvious. His ears, which are rather long, are the same color as his hair. His antlers are large, and they annoy the hell out of Harris when they molt. His rabbit tail is also the same shade as his hair.
Harris’ face is angular, with dustings of light freckles on his tanned cheeks and nose. He looks a tad androgynous, and it’s something that he tries to compensate for with his style of dress. He doesn’t do shorts, but you’ll probably only see him in old faded jeans. Along with holey shirts, scuffed to hell boots, and a dusty leather jacket. When he’s not wearing his favorite jacket, Harris will wear sleeveless shirts. His style (if you can call it that) is somewhere between redneck and a rocker from the eighties. The more “rock” side of it’s probably came from the fact that Harris has traveled quite a bit in his life and has met a lot of people.
He has quite a few scars, burns, and some skin discoloration due to childhood abuse and adulthood accidents.
Being mostly laid back when he’s not bothering people or being bothered, Harris’ posture is mostly calm and relaxed. However, his instincts are good, and at the slightest hint of danger or conflict he’ll tense like a drawn bowstring.
History
If there really are normal families out there, then Harris wouldn’t know it. His entire life has been a struggle and fight with teeth and claws, so to speak. When he was a child growing up, before his little brother came along, it was bad, but sometimes it was good. Sometimes, Mom would actually be sober and would show him affection. Would get him to bake with her. Sometimes Dad brought home money and would take him hunting without getting too angry. And sometimes he’d smile and clap Harris on the back and say that he was proud of him for bagging a large stag or other animal.
But it progressively got worse. Dad was always gone, at taverns or with women, and Mom would drown her sorrows with booze. She didn’t love her son, not really. And if Harris could look at it from her point of view, he’d say she probably didn’t have any love in her to even give away. But anger makes that a little hard to do.
When Indiana was born, Harris had to deliver his infant brother. It was something of a scary experience for a seven-year-old. Their mother had almost immediately passed out right after that, so Harris got about to cleaning and feeding his brother. He knew that, from that moment, he’d be the one to protect Indiana. Harris was a lot more innocent back then though.
The boys’ childhood went about much the same way. Abuse, neglect, work. While Indiana was growing up, Harris was also maturing and hardening into the person he is today. He oftentimes didn’t attempt to even deal with his younger brother’s childish antics (because he was a small child,) and even hit him repetitively because of his short temper. Harris loved him through it, though.
When their father was home, he’d snap on their mother over the smallest of things. Harris didn’t even bother taking up for her, since he knew that he’d just get hit as well, and frankly he didn’t really care. It always happened. It was just one more thing to get used to.
When Indiana’s sixteenth birthday rolled around, Harris was glad to find that his mother had baked Indy a cake. He himself hadn’t had a cake since he was six years old, and he was actually happy to see his younger brother look so at ease. If only he’d have been the one to find their mother, though. If Harris had been the one to open the door and see her hanging there. He would’ve been fine, in all honesty. He had a feeling that it’d happen one of these days. But to have Indiana find her was the worst that could happen. Harris still regrets that he hadn’t cared enough for his mother to be the one to check on her.
After that, Harris stayed away from the house quite a bit. He’d started drinking, and he’d been to jail quite a few times. He also got involved in the drug trade, although he wasn’t much for the substances himself. After his and Indy’s father died (much to Harris happiness, which he didn’t bother to hide,) Harris promised that he’d stay home more and help his brother with his hunting to make good honest money. He didn’t completely keep that promise, and he’s fairly certain that Indy knows about it.
Harris left Indy seemingly for good recently, and hasn’t came back home once. However, he’s kept a close eye on his brother while Indiana goes about his life. They’re both searching for themselves, and at his core, Harris doesn’t want to be this thing that’s too much like his father. He’s looking for a sense of identity in all the wrong places. He’s a great man, and one of these days with a little luck, he may even be a good one.

OTHER INFORMATION TO BE NOTED.
If you'd like to adopt him I would like to see a very good sense of roleplaying and a sample, as well it should be noted that I would like to have him get with Indiana, and if there should be a problem then you need not apply for him haha.
