Weapon of Choice
Having been used to fighting with his hands and feet in the past; Uther decided to adopt weapons that would best suit the fighting style he had gotten used to. As such his choice of weapons are metal gauntlets, reaching from covering his hand to just before his elbow, with claw-like blades at the end of each finger.
He also wears metal leg-guards, covering his feet and up his leg to just below his knee, with them. At the end of the feet is a small hook, curving downward slightly, and underneath the feet are small spikes.
The fighting style Uther has incorporated with these weapons is that of an acrobatic type, using manoeuvres that aren't entirely expected. He also has a decent affinity with deflecting attacks and countering quickly, though his skill level in this field is no where near to his acrobatic style.
Gifted Element
Wind - Air
To go with the style of combat Uther uses he has spent most of his time using Air, though not always on opponents rather then himself. He prefers it to aid him in moving around quicker, reducing the air resistance or flinging himself in a certain direction with it's aid, though he does sometimes use it to put his foes off-balance, allowing him to easier get to their weakest spot or to even create one in their stumbling.
Personality
Uther is not the kind of person you'd expect to take anything seriously. He'll joke in the middle of combat, make sarcastic comments in the middle of someone's speech and while everyone would be running away from what great terror is about you'd find him going acting casually like nothing was happening. It primarily comes from the incredible amount of arrogance he has; thinking himself capable of almost anything. There's not a person in the world that Uther considers greater then himself; and he'll often get into trouble because of it.
However most of this is a facade. Uther is not the jolly person he seems, quite the opposite. Whenever he sees something going wrong, or someone hurt, he cannot help but blame himself for it. If he had only been there a few minutes earlier, if he had only tried harder, if he hadn't of acted in a certain way... His mind cannot help but think of the various things he could've done better, almost forgetting what he had done right. He acts arrogant and unserious because he thinks that in by doing as much he'll make other people happy, and to inspire other people to have confidence in themselves. It takes a lot to break through his outer shell, but it is very much possible.
Though he'll oft try to deny it, and resist it, Uther has a nigh-chronic need to help others who are in need. All a person needs to do is say that they're hurting for money and, to his great annoyance with himself, Uther would give them whatever he could spare. He'd even go so far to risk his life if he saw a person in danger, and may whatever forces that be help whoever he sees taking advantage of the weak.
A major problem with Uther is that the only way he knows how to deal with his problems is through fighting, and that's what he'll do. It may be better to talk to someone, to sort things out that way, but because he doesn't truly understand how to do that, because he's afraid of doing it, he won't try it. Often has he made situations worse with this mentality.
Appearance
Standing a just about 6'4" and weight just around 178lbs Uther has a rather muscular build, his arms and legs quite tough and considerably thick. His hair is rather short, reaching to just above his neck at the back and not covering anything but the tip of his forehead at the front, and coloured a strong black, his eyes being coloured a light green. One thing that often stands out is that the point of his right ear has been removed in some manner, a less-noticeable light scar showing along the side of his head that aligns with the cut making it clear that it was cut off in some kind of fight.
In terms of attire you'll likely find Uther wearing his leather armour, a few bits and pieces of it missing off of it here and there. It's not quite as thick as other leather armour, chosen as such by Uther to allow him more freedom of movement, and thusly it doesn't make him seem as bulky as other leather armour would. It sports a chainmail hood that Uther raises when he's expecting a tough encounter, though most of the time you'd find it down. He also often can be found wearing his weapons, as they allow quite a lot of freedom to move about normally even with them on.
Uther will quite often have with him a brown sack containing all the items he wishes to take with him, necessities and otherwise, especially when he is travelling from place to place. It's rather large, though not incredibly so, and it weighs quite a lot for all the items that are in it.
History
Born a son of two wandering mercenaries Uther never new what it was to stay in one place, never understood what it meant to settle down. While he made friends some days it was often they would soon become his enemies, his parent's jobs always making sure of that. Though, oddly, he never felt lonely. He had his Mother, his Father and any other company he had with others, though temporary, suited him well. They way he saw it; the other people would get boring eventually. It helped him deal with it.
Given what his parent's did it would be obvious that he would be trained in some manner of combat, even from an early age. While of course it was nothing too great the first day Uther began his training was on the day of his Eighth Birthday; simple punches and kicks. He picked up how one would expect for a first-timer, clumsy and unfocused, but still his parents were proud of him. They were always proud of him; he was their son. With his parent's guidance he soon improved, though he never seemed to transist from hand-to-hand combat to weapon combat.
He never felt what it meant to wield a weapon, to have it as an extension of himself. He would always swing too hard or too lightly, swinging blindly or swinging clumsily. His Father worked around this however by creating the weapons Uther still wields today; his gauntlets and leg-guards. His improvement only skyrocketed from there.
However it could not last, what with his Parents doing what they did. Just another routine job, nothing special, and yet they fell. They died. Uther didn't feel anything at the time it supposedly happened, not like he thought you were supposed to, and when he learned of what had happened he couldn't help but feel overwhelmingly bad about himself. He felt it be his fault. What if he had trained harder, hard enough so that he could've gone into battle with them. Hard enough to defend them. And yet he wasn't. It was his fault; he failed.
He continued the life he had always had, wandering from place to place, though something in him had changed. He saw things going wrong and he felt that it was his fault, that he should do something. This had not been there before, these feelings of guilt. So overwhelming did they become that Uther could not resist helping people. He cursed it. It wasn't his problem, taking it on would only burden himself. Yet it still happened, again and again. Eventually he accepted it, though it greatly displeased him still, and when he noticed that people were put down by his attitude it also made him feel bad. He changed the very way he acted so that people could feel happy, so the feeling of guilt wouldn't be so great. The weight on his shoulder never disappeared, however, even as he grew ever older. Still there. Alway.
