↓ OHITHAR. TIS IS ME. ↓
Where to begin... Hmm. Well, lets' start with the basics, shall we?
My name is Jessie (obviously), and I've been attending this fascination you call Earth, for a solid 19 years. I graduated High School last year, and I begin college classes this year in the coming spring (May). I will be attending for an Associates in Art to get by, until I come with the financial requirements to attend a University I so dearly wish to attend, for a Bachelors in Game Art. (But I'm broke ass at the moment, so, ghetto-ville college goes). And I live in this happy (not so really) little (too freakin huge) city called Jacksonville (you know, that place with a higher crime rate than Miami), located at the pennisula of the U.S., called Florida,
I'm a bit crazy, but that might be due to the couple (more than) of times I've hit my head on various objects that just don't belong in such places at the time (such as walls next to doors, or doors next to walls). I can be a serious bitch and quite mean, but for the majority, I'm actually a decent person, and have been told I'm actually too nice, but I find that a bit exaggerated. I love Anime, Dubstep, Animals, drawing, swimming, and absolutely love video games. I'm a PC consul type of gal though, Xbox360 being my 2nd platform of choice. PS3, not so much, but I might consider it if the new .HACK series releases on it, and not consul-wide.
I can also be a bit twisted, if you've observed my knack of persona's within my characters of choice. I'm not much of a hero ethnic person, and have this deep connection with playing more darker persona's, and I actually become more and more appreciative over the characters I develop over time. I can honestly say not being my creation, that Mithos has had an attachment on me that I can't recall having in a long while, and its' enjoyable to get that feeling again.
I've been roleplaying on forums for about 11 years now, since I started. And I've created five successful runs of websites for roleplaying, one that is still open and running to this very day, ran by a friend of mine. I've personally attended... more than I can count, of many various genres of roleplay such as anime, originals, realism, fantasy, horror, school, and other pieces. One of my most beloved forums from the past, I will have to say would be a Transformers:Generations piece that I created with some friends, that sprung out to be a pretty popular hit, and thus leading out of the 5 sites I am held responsible for, that three of those were a Trilogy piece for this roleplay. There, I played as both Megatron and Starscream (surprising?), and never received complaints of how I portrayed the characters and their choices/actions. This is where my fascination with villain characters developed, and, well, now I'm here.
Despite not being a fair artist compared to Deviant Art browsing, I do enjoy art in many forms, from pen and paper, to painting, pastel, and even that of the ↓ sand. ↓
I try to push myself forward as much as I can to improve my techniques and presentation, and that I've actually, just within the past two years, began free-hand, no-reference drawing (In the past, I could not openly draw what was in my mind, on paper, which resulted in referencing EVERYTHING. From pose, to hair, to eyes, to clothing, I would pretty much collab 10 different pictures, to one character). I can say that I'm openly proud of this, but do accept that I'm still not the best, and will always do my best to improve to quality standards.
Though, being an artist and a browser at the same time, there are artist of even the most basic works such as stick people, scribbles, and other pieces that I simply admire and request pieces from, and it excites me to no end when that one in a handful comes to my work, and appreciates it with such quality, even though my works are more scribbles than beauty you find in a museum. This being said, I'm very open to any commissions for anyone here at Dissimulation, if you approve of my art style and flaws.
