Gifted Element
Earth (She manipulates the ground beneath her feet; does not include any aspect of nature as far as plantlike aspects).
Personality
Determined
Dependable & not one to throw herself under the bus, Nayi is a thick-headed fem who, once her sight is set, will never be pried. And you'd be damn stupid to even try, as she is not hesitant in showing her force to anyone that stands in her path. Though, one of her other common traits may lead to her apologizing in a later time for harming that of someone who was simply trying to guide her from trouble.
Strong Front, Soft Heart
She may act tough when the time calls, but in all reality, Nayi actually conceals a soft, mellow heart for others, especially her friends. This usually leads to her frequently being suckered in to assisting, which then kicks her flaw of her determination, to where the help doesn't stop until the mission is complete. However, this also makes her a bit easier to manipulate for even the more suspicious things, that often lead to nothing but a handful of trouble.
Over-Exaggerated
A flare of emotions, this Porter can be a bit... over exaggerate at times. Well, mainly all the time, as her emotions have a peak. When she's happy, she is easily excited to the fill of a five year old on Christmas, and when shes angry, her tantrum is that of a vile, PMSing 30 year old.
Crafty
There is a reason that the Porter has made a living in the Alchemist business, as her muse for mix and matching the strangest of herbs, berries, and magic have created forms of healing, poisons, and even that of quick edibles. She has an antidote for nearly anything, though she still has plenty of ground to explore, yet to having venture out anywhere past Darir.
Appearance
Tainted by the gene that deems her a Dissimulative, Nayi was never fond of taking the trait to its' advantages, especially as she had grown up on Kabal grounds, birth to present.
Standing at a fair 5'2", and weighing a slim figure of 116lbs, her physic is more toned to her Porter genetics than Elvaan. Her ears are stretched at a minimal, and curved at the tips, than pointed. Her face is of less edge, and more curved around her cheek bones, and her eyes are more fluent of expression, fiery hues of sky-line blue, than the slim of her kin. Skin colored in shades of a light peach, highlights are often that of a yellow when out in the sun. Her hair is that of a raven, masqueraded in a silk appearance as it hangs loosely down to her waist, evenly trimmed bangs looming above her eyebrows.
Her attire is often fitted in traditional Alchemist behavior, that of light cottons and a cloak shadowing her steps. Her torso is fitted with that of a yellow hashed tailorship, while her pants are that of ivory green capris, dissolving into that of her tanned leather knee-high boots, fit for traveling even throughout the Eupeereeth swamps for the more rare herbs.
Her katars are harnessed into the belt that lays limply at her hips, having no real attachment to any of the other tailorship on her body.
When taking advantages over her Porter trait, she takes the appearance of violet rose petals.
History
Born and raised in the Capital of Dissimulatives, there isn’t too much favor upon the outside world beyond the gates of the City of Gold, or so Nayi is aware. All her life, she had grown to live alongside her parents, both Porters, themselves. And of fairwealth, as her father is that of the Imperial Guard, and her mother one of the teachers for the female soldiers of the said faction.
Much like the stereotypical gain of growing up in a leader bond family, Nayi was expected to train under both, her mother and father in the skills of survival. Her mother taught her the ways of portraying her element at a young age, manipulating the terrain around her to provide a passive defense/offense, while taking her Porter genetics into account for defense, learning how to mobile quickly between the rose pedal translucence, and back to combat. Her father was the one who introduced her to Katars, a hand-to-hand combat weapon that was potentially effortless for a Porter, especially of her skill.
Cycles past, and the territorial gain became much more violent, taking the attention of her parents in her late teen stage, the point in life where choices were ultimate. No matter how hard Nayi trained, or how much she pressed forth in determination of succeeding in her parents’ wishes, she couldn’t see herself as a warrior forever. And this was frightening. Never had she expected to intentionally disappoint her guardians, and in fear of being rejected of the idea, it puzzled her. She didn’t want to become a pawn in the Imperial Guard, but even so, wasn’t quite sure of what she preferred.
Browsing her options, Nayi’s attention became more frequent in the Bazaar of the Capital, browsing different markets and looking for insight of a new hobby that didn’t involve being on the field, but in some way, had its’ advantages. This is when she met a humble woman, an Elf who lived in the Dissimulative Capital, who specialized in apothecary. The various potions, smells, herbs, they intrigued her! And not only that, but they proved useful in combat, like little vials of shaman potential.
It became a daily habit for the next year for Nayi to approach the woman, requesting lessons of different elements to mix and match and have their outcome. Yet, still, she had not expressed the hobby to her parents. Not until her father fell ill. In desperation, Nayi retrieved sample potions she had stored in her room, taking special care to her father’s wounds. Within hours, he was recovering, astonished at the girls’ remedy.
This is when her secret came out, explaining her thoughts of her training, and that of the lessons with the Elf whos’ name was Carnigare, explaining how she saw a certain beauty in alchemy, and that alike. Surprised, her parents reactions were much opposite, taking praise that their daughter had found something to enjoy, and apologized dearly to the harsh training of her childhood. Her mother even dared lipped that had she spoken out earlier that she was not comfortable, they would have not pushed her so far in their own misguided future.
Since then, Nayi has been on her own for two years and growing, expanding her research about apothecary and that alike, while also maintaining her training in combat, as the outside world required it. She looks to one day become a dependable Shaman, without the necessities of the proper element in her favor.
